KEEP ON SMILINGBelieve it or not, commercial wet canned foods can cause extreme tarter build up leaving our pets teeth fragile with a dark ugly color and really bad breath. It is very important that we alternate foods with wet to dry foods. The dry foods will help remove some of the tarter build up and strengthens the teeth. Unless you are preparing all natural wet foods yourself I would highly recommend illiminating commercial wet foods all together.
The best alternative for our dogs is to give "A DOG A BONE". That's right! A raw hide bone to your dogs size will remove tarter build up and help keep our dogs teeth strong. I don't recommend any raw hide that contains anything with a dental formula only because I have known many pets to become sick if eaten to much, as they have a hard time digesting the ingredients contained in the hide. This is a additive that has drawn much controversy. It's better safe than sorry.
