1 egg (store bought, freerange, or organic)
1 tbsp. cooked steak finely chopped
2 tsp. canola oil
2 tbsp. organic chicken broth cold
- Beat egg in small bowl or measuring cup, add the chopped steak and beat well.
- Heat canola oil in a small skillet on medium heat.
- Pour the egg mixture in skillet and scramble until eggs are firm
- Add the cooked egg mixture to the dogs bowl.
- Pour the cold broth over the mixture to cool the mixture down and prevent dog from burning mouth.

FROZEN BANANA POPS
Your dogs will love you for these yummy pops especially on a hot summer day.
INGREDIENTS:
4 Cups plain low-fat yogurt
2 tbsp. raw honey
1 Banana sliced
DIRECTIONS:
Mix all ingredients in a blender or use a food processor
Pour into ice cube trays or use our own molds (molds can be from chocolate making molds)
Place in the freezer until fully frozen, then release into a bowl or container keep chilled or frozen until you are ready to serve.

ALLERGY DIET

Venison can be hard to come by, you will need to go to the local butcher that is allowed to sell venison by your states laws. Duck can also be purchased at the local butchers. You may not find these delicacies at he local supermarket.
This recipe will help with itchy scaling skin conditions and will help their coat from developing oily secretions.

HUSH PUPPIES
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
1 8oz. package corn muffin mix.
Directions:
Place all the listed ingredients in a bowl and combine. Pour into a greased 8 inch square baking pan. Preheat at 400 degrees. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely before feeding to your dog.
Cut into quarters, then cut each quarter into 16 pieces. Store in an airtight container or a zip lock baggie at room temperature. Makes 64.
The greatest thing about this recipe is that you, yep you, can eat them with your pet. Enjoy!

UPSET TUMMY REMEDY
CHICKEN & RICE
Your pet has an upset tummy along with vomiting and bouts of diarrhea try this:

1 qt. fresh water, no well water.
1 cup uncooked white rice.
1 lb. Unseasoned, skinless, boneless chicken strips or breast.
1. Bring 2 cups water to a boil and add the uncooked white rice, reduce the heat to a medium low for 15-20 minutes until rice is cooked. Cover your pot while cooking to prevent sticky rice.
2. Bring another pot of 2 cups water and add in your chicken. Boil until the chicken is cooked all the way through. Once he meat is cooked set aside and let cool.
3. Break your chicken into bight size pieces specific to your pets size.
4. Stir chicken into the rice and give a small portions. Keep your dog on a bland diet for 24-48 hours.
5. If your pet is having violent vomiting and diarrhea, or seems overly lethargic contact your vet immediately.

YUMMY KIBBLE SUPPLEMENT
Cottage Cheese is a palatable source of protein that can boost the nutritional value of our dogs kibble. This is an inexpensive and convenient way to make the dry food a tasty meal while adding additional protein to our pets food.
Add 1 tbsp. to 1/2 cup.
Add 2 tbsp. to 1 cup.
Simple as that!
Estimated cost of Cottage Cheese: Cabot 32 oz. = $3.79, Cabot 16 oz.= $1.99, Hood 16 oz.= $2.19, Hood country style 8 oz.= $1.59, Hood Country style 16 oz. $2.19. Of course your local markets store brand will be cheaper and just as healthy.

Chicken or Beef GUMBO
5 cups water, divided
1 cup uncooked white or wheat rice
1 tbsp. Canola, vegetable or safflower oil (which one you prefer)
1/2 lb. Chicken breast, or Steak cut into bite size pieces
1/4 lb. cooked ham chopped in small pieces
3 cups organic chicken broth or beef broth (can use regular chicken broth)
One 14 1/2 oz. diced tomatoes in the juice
4 carrots peeled and chopped in small pieces
4 celery stalks chopped into small pieces
1 lb package of okra
2 cups smalled shell shaped pasta or small elbow noodles
If you wanted to really spurge add 1/4 lb. peeled and divined medium shrimp chopped into small pieces.
DIRECTIONS:
Bring 2 cups water to a boil over high heat in a 3 quart saucepan. Add rice, reduce heat to medium - low, cover, and cook for 15 to 20 minutes until the rice is cooked and all the water has been absorbed.
In an 8 quart stockpot over medium high heat add Chicken,or Beef, ham, and cook stirring occasionally until the chicken or beef is fully cooked about 2 to 3 minutes.
Add chicken broth, or beef broth tomatoes with juice and the remaining 3 cups of water bringing to a boil over high heat.
Add celery, okra and carrots, reducing the heat to med-high and cook stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.
Add pasta and cook stirring occasionally for 10 minutes.
Add the shrimp and cook for 2 more minutes
Remove from the heat and stir in the rice. Let cool before feeding to your dog.
This will make 8 quarts of Gumbo that you can store for later use or have some yourself, you will want to add your own seasonings and enjoy a meal with your pet.
