Belmont - A non-profit group is being established to form a dog park and community service goals in the town of Belmont, NH. It is called Happy Tails Dog Park of Belmont, NH. They meet the second Thursday of every month at 6:00pm at The Corner Meeting House (upper level) at 18 Fuller Street in Belmont, NH. Anyone who has an interest in joining their organization can come check it out.

Concord - Visit Arnos Cleaners during the month of March. They are hosting a “Shamrock Buck & Good Luck” fundraiser to benefit the Concord-Merrimack County SPCA. They are located at 267 South Main Street in Concord, NH. Patrons will have the opportunity to purchase a Shamrock Shape for $1.00 and write the name of a loved one to show support of the homeless animals being cared for by the Shelter. Shamrocks will be placed on a display doghouse as a visual symbol of the shelter being filled with luck. Be sure to stop by during the month of March and give them some luck! Concord - Concord-Merrimack County SPCA (Penacook)-holds a charity-adoption program every couple of days, getting pets that need home better exposure. For more information on this program Click here.

Concord -Concord-Merrimack County SPCA Petco Adoption Days on February 18 & March 10 from 11:00am–1:00pm the SPCA will be on site at Petco located at 35 Fort Eddy Road in Concord, NH with adoptable animals, information about their organization and news about upcoming events. Volunteers will be able to answer any questions you may have about the Concord-Merrimack County SPCA. For more information please call (603)753-6751.

Dover - Located in Dover, NH the Cocheco Valley Humane Society provides quality, compassionate care and shelter to its animals in partnership with educating the community with respect to animal treatment and welfare. As an animal shelter, CVHS provides a safe and caring temporary residence for homeless, lost, abandoned, or unwanted dogs, cats, and small animals. Staff and volunteers work side-by-side, meeting the needs of over 2,000 animals per year. Volunteers are needed on a daily basis in a variety of areas, including direct animal care, special events, Saturday night Bingo, humane education, and foster care. An orientation session is required prior to volunteering. Volunteers must be at least 16 to volunteer alone, or 14 to volunteer with an adult. Laconia - The NH Humane Society offers low cost spay & neuter services through S.N.A.P. This program is available to all NH residents. For additional information about the program, services offered and available dates click here .

Manchester - Manchester Animal Shelter in partnership with PETCO will hold Adoption Events in Manchester, NH on the last Saturday of every month from 10:00am-2:00pm. On the last Saturday of the month, volunteers are on hand at PETCO to give you information and answer your questions about FMAS and its residents. They have photos of all the animals who are available for adoption, and they often bring along some of our wonderful shelter felines. Manchester - Animal Shelter Night with the Monarchs Purchase a ticket to the Manchester Monarchs vs. Hershey Bears game scheduled for February 18th at 7:00pm at the Verizon Wireless Arena located at 555 Elm Street in Manchester, NH and join fellow supporters of the SPCA. Adopt a Racing Greyhound - Ever thought of adopting an ex racing greyhound as a pet? Greyhounds make great pets. These dogs are usually between 18 months and 5 1/5 years old.
